This cup dates from Ming Dynasty (LongQing period) and is in good condition - the rim is a little rough with a few tiny frits, a little staining in the base and a small firing crack in the glaze. Otherwise there are no chips or cracks. The quality of the painting, glaze and construction are all excellent. It's a very nice example of this style of cup from this period.
As with all antique porcelain, these are handmade and woodfired. We try to describe them as accurately as possible. Please expect them to have some character as one would expect from items of this age.
