The leaves were picked and gently spread out on bamboo mats to wither and slowly shade dry for several days.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The flavour is very pure - with floral notes and comfortable and powerful energy.  Upon beginning to drink the tea, one may think it is very light, but as the infusions, progress and the drinker becomes more sensitive, it's full of flavour, aroma and character.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e This is our seventh year making this tea. This year we especially selected only the older trees in the forest, wanting to make a special production of this tea. The leaves are from a few trees which are around 50 years old, and hand picked and processed, finished with traditional charcoal roasting.   It was roasted three times, in June, in July, then lastly in October.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis varietal is known as Almond Aroma Dan Cong \u003cspan data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e(aka. Xing Ren Xiang)\u003c\/span\u003e, and the tea has really nice almond aroma, with nice flower and elegant scents and flavours.   It tastes very pure, with thick and rich texture. These have proven to be more popular than we expected and we had quite few people emailing us to ask us to share more with them.   Since the collector still has a bit quantity in their stock, we decided to offer this tea for sale now.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis tea is from Fujian Provence, Panxi region, a high mountain area where these bushes are growing wild.   The grade of the white tea called Shou Mei - a grade consisting of buds and larger leaves.
