This cup is in excellent condition. At the foot there is a small chip in the surface glaze only that looks like it might be from the time of being removed from the kiln (pictured) and a small spot on the rim where the glaze didn't adhere. Inside is a carved character as was common in this period. Otherwise this cup is in perfect condition, with no chips or cracks. This is really a lovely cup, with good colours in the glaze, nice form and nicely decorated.
This is a nicely sized cup for those who like to drink alone.
This cup is handmade and woodfired, please expect some character as is appropriate for pieces of this age.
