This bowl is in very nice condition - it has no chips or cracks. There is one place on the rim that the body was chipped before glazing and firing (pictured), but this is an original character of this particular bowl and not later damage. The glazing is intact over this.
It comes from Yunnan's Huaning Kiln and was made during the Qing Dynasty. This kiln is famous for these green and blue glazes, which are nicely crackled and deep in colour in this bowl.
This would make an excellent bowl for those who like to drink tea from bowls, or even for a waste water bowl for the tea table.
As with all antiques of this age, please expect some character. It is over 100 years old. We endeavour to describe antiques accurately and show them clearly in photos.
