Heishuiliangzi is the highest peak of the Guafengzhai area and one of the most remote tea gardens. We produced a small quantity of ancient tree tea from there last year and this Spring we selected three tall pole trees (gaogan) to pick and process together for this tea. These trees grow high in the forest, tall and thin and just sprout at the forest canopy so don't have a lot of leaves.
There is a strong forest character in the tea, minty cooling in the mouth, super solid with nice energy and orchid aroma in the aftertaste. A very nice tea.
