This is a new grove of trees for us this year, a group of tall pole trees (gaogan) growing in the forest near Yiwu's YiShanMo/Xiangcunlin area. These aren't super super old gaogan trees, but aren't young by any means, are pretty big and have pristine environment.
The tea is vibrant and uplifting with nice cooling, minty sensations in the mouth and strong forest character.
This is a very nice tea, that punches above its weight at a price that comes from a little known area that hasn't been promoted and hyped.
