This cake was produced in 2012 by Xiangming Gudianman Tea Factory and has been stored in Xishuangbanna. It was produced from ancient tree material from Mangzhi - one of the six ancient tea mountains.
This tea will benefit from resting for a couple of weeks once it arrives. We initially wondered if we'd made a mistake when we brought this back after tasting in the mountains. To our relief, it came alive after a couple of weeks and this is really a lovely tea. Smooth, refined, good thickness and lovely dark toffee character. This is very comfortable to drink and a good option for those seeking pure ancient tree material from this mountain.
