We opened a 12kg circle of this 1950's Liu Bao tea to celebrate the opening of our studio in Kunming. The tea is from a basket of top grade 1950's Yuan Du liubao is similar, both in style and taste to Pu Tian Gong Qing and comes from an era before the introduction of heap and pile fermentation.
The tea was made as a raw tea and with time it has naturally fermented and aged into one of the most special and refined Liubao teas available today. The leaves are strong and vibrant & the taste is thick, rich and very comfortable and calming to drink.
We offer this either as 10g Samples or in a sealed vintage 1980's Jingdezhen jar, complete with numbered inner ticket and presentation box.
