This pot is completely handmade, using our "Daheng Zini" aged clay. On the surface of the pot, we requested the potter to add small pieces of fired Duanni clay to decorate the exterior, a technique known as "Pu Sha" (铺砂). This practice has been done since the Qing dynasty and adds lovely golden flecks to the surface. The shape of this teapot was inspired by an antique teapot dating back to the late Ming and early Qing dynasties.
Of course each piece is unique in composition, but very similar. We made with single hole filter.
EDXRF analysis of clay provided also, showing no additives were used in the clay.
