Benshan Moluni is a subtype of LuNi (green clay) coming from Yixing's Huanglongshan mining area. Although the fired clay is more yellow, the original ore and processed clay is a dark green colour (as can be seen from the attached photos of this ore and a test pot before firing). We purchased a batch of this ore to ensure its authenticity. We stone ground it, sorting impurities by hand and processed it into clay without any additives. Attached is an EDXRF test of the clay.
This pot is half-handmade in the style of a Qing pot that we liked. The walls are medium-thin, it's high fired and very nicely crafted. Inside is a single hole filter.
