2005 Fuding Panxi Shou Mei White Tea
2005 Fuding Panxi Shou Mei White Tea
We've been searching nice Fuding aged white tea for some time now. It's not so easy though to find one that is clean and up to our standards. In August, we found two nice white teas to share with our monthly tea club members. These have proven to be more popular than we expected and we had quite few people emailing us to ask us to share more with them. Since the collector still has a bit quantity in their stock, we decided to offer this tea for sale now.
This tea is from Fujian Provence, Panxi region, a high mountain area where these bushes are growing wild. The grade of the white tea called Shou Mei - a grade consisting of buds and larger leaves. This tea has been stored in Fujian Province until now. The included photos of the bushes are more recent, but give an idea of the environment and shows how the bushes that this tea came from look today.
This tea has good clean storage, aging nicely with lovely aged woody taste and deep fruity notes. It has good texture and body, nice refined liquid, and lovely lingering cooling sensations.
