This is a small batch of tea pressed by an ex-policeman from Jinghong in 2005. He pressed a larger batch, wrapped in the WuQingHao wrapper that we also have available and pressed this smaller batch of different leaves wrapped in white wrappers. This is the last remaining tong of these cakes.
It's a spring production from Mahei village - a small production made from uncut ancient trees. The picking standard was good, with lots of buds and smaller leaf sets.
It has been stored in Jinghong, allowing the tea to age very nicely in the hot and relatively humid climate in clean conditions, allowing the tea to develop nicely with clean, clear flavour.
It is smooth, with resinous notes and clean, clear mouthfeel. It has good thickness and nice semi-aged flavour
