Quanjihao is a small family processing studio based in Xiangming. They specialise in Manzhuan and 6 Famous Tea Mountains teas, with the family patriarch being the 13th generation of their family history of tea makers and his grown children following in his footsteps.
They pressed this tea in 2005, though the wrappers had come apart and they rewrapped the cakes in 2017. The storage has been very clean with no off flavours.
The tea is super smooth, inducing saliva almost immediatly as it enters the mouth and coating it in a resinous oily sweetness. It's a very nice tea to drink at a price that is excellent for the quality in today's market.
