For those with good memories and who have been with us for a while, these cakes are from the same source as the 2006 Wild Peacock cakes we sold many years ago, these were produced in 2007 and have been stored in Guangzhou.
Being wild tea, there is a difference in character from more standard Assamica varietal puerh, but perhaps not as obvious as when it was fresh. This tea has good thickness, clean storage with moderate humidity, the very pleasant flavour of wild tea transforming into more standard aged puerh character, comfortable and nice to drink.
An easy to drink, nicely aged tea which is still at a reasonable price.
