We purchased this from Rui Quan Tea Factory in 2016 and have been ageing it in our Malaysia warehouse since then.
It's Shui Xian from several of their gardens within the Wuyi Scenic Reserve. We ordered this tea with a stronger roast with the intention to age it and allow the roast flavours to settle. This has worked well, and the edges of the roast are gone and nice aged deep fruit notes developing.
This is on the more entry level of their Zhengyan teas and priced more towards an everyday drinking Shui Xian, still from good locations within the park.
