From the same garden as our Beyond the Clouds raw puerh and red tea that we've been making since 2016, we decided to process some tea this year as white tea. One benefit of renting this garden on a long term basis is that we can specify that it is only harvested in the spring and the farming practices are entirely without agrochemicals.
For this white tea, we asked the pickers to pick the leaves quite young, with more smaller leaf and bud sets and shade dried the tea without any further processing.
This is a lovely fresh white tea, with very pleasant aromas and sweet floral flavours at a price that makes it accessible for daily drinking
