Chawangshu tea garden is probably the best known and perhaps the most sought after of the ancient tree tea gardens belonging to Guafengzhai. We stayed in Guafengzhai for around 2 weeks this spring during the tea harvest, tasting the freshly processed tea day by day and comparing the productions and processing of the different families who own ancient tree plots particularly in Chawangshu.
This tea is rich and thick, with good energy and concentrated aftertaste.
This is a very nice example of pure ancient tree tea from this famous tea garden.
