This Apricot Blossom Aroma (杏花香) Dancong oolong comes from Wudong's Liziping Village at ~1200m altitude. The trees are around 40 years old. This tea has been processed with light-medium oxidation and twice charcoal roasted.
The processing has preserved the special fragrance of this varietal, with enough oxidation to remove the greenness and produce a tea that is very comfortable to drink. There is a strong mineral character from this environment which brings extra dimensions to the tea.
