This pure silver teapot (0.990) was made for us by a small studio in Guizhou, Yunnan. We've been looking around for quite a while for Yunnan studios whose workmanship could reach our standards. There are many silver teapots and kettles coming out of studios in Yunnan but most are cast in bulk or aren't very refined in their workmanship.
This teapot was hand hammered and expertly crafted. The control of the pour is perfect and it is very comfortable to use. Inside is a curved multi-hole filter. The workmanship of this teapot is really excellent & a treasure to be used and enjoyed for generations to come.
