The Chinese market is full of mass-produced tea trays in this format, but we have long had a wish to make something a little more special. We asked a potter in Jingdezhen to hand-throw some ceramic bases for us, using the same glaze as our cups. For the lid, we asked a Yunnan silversmith to hand-hammer some lids using 99% pure tin, and finish it with a brass rim and centre decoration for the water hole.
We have two styles of these trays available - both undecorated, and with a blue line decoration as shown in the photos. Both come with a box for transport and storage.
