We purchased this in 2016 from Rui Quan Tea Factory and have been ageing it in our Malaysia warehouse since then.
It was produced from a small plot of old tree Shui Xian, nestled on Qing Shi Yan (Green Lion Cliff) in the centre of the Wuyi scenic reserve. This small garden has about 30 of these old trees.
Hand-picked, processed and charcoal roasted. This tea has aged nicely, with the roast settling and integrating well. There's good body and minimality to the tea with lovely deep fruit flavours and aged character.
