Grown in Tian Xin Yan (天心岩) in the centre of the Wuyi Scenic Reserve, this Zhengyan Yancha is nicely processed - with multiple charcoal roasts.
The leaves are picked small, giving a concentrated character with long, steady aftertaste.
This is a nice Rougui and good value in a market that has inflated RouGui prices from the core Wuyi area. It's also an interesting comparison with the older 2018 Rou Gui we sell from the same trees and producer.
