This is a special red tea made from a single ancient wild tree growing in Feng Qing (Yunnan, China). This tree is huge, with over 80kg fresh leaves harvested this Spring (producing around 20kg of dry tea). For those familiar with harvest sizes, this is exceptional and trees old and large enough to produce so many leaves are few and far between.
The tea is very nice - balanced florals in the taste and aroma with concentrated and thick body and strong energy that builds and moves slowly while drinking.
We have packed this into 5g single serving bags for ease of use and to maintain its character over the years.
