We occasionally come across interesting pieces in the antique markets. The base of this was from Ming Dynasty. We thought it would make a nice tea waste water jar. We asked a craftsman to hand-hammer a lid using tin, adding a centre decoration for the water hole.
This is a one of a kind - a new creation to add something special to a tea table.
