We recently were offered a collection of ming cups being sold as part of an estate sale of an antiques repairer who passed away. This is one of that collection. These prices of these are quite affordable relatively since we bought the collection in bulk.
This is a nice cup, simple and elegant. It has a chip (from original firing) on the rim which have been filled with kintsugi silver filling and with a silver band on the rim.
This cup is handmade, woodfired and hundreds of years old, please expect some character as is normal for pieces of this age.
