This is a nice cup - it has had a little damage in the past and has that a small hairline. This damage has been expertly repaired with one silver staple stabilising the crack.
These repairs take a lot of skill to do well and many people feel that the object is even more beautiful after the repair.
As with all antiques of this period, this is handmade and wood fired. Please expect some character as is appropriate for its age.
